Who: L.J. Scarpace, Director of Player Development for the University of Michigan men’s hockey team

The Story: Since his tenure began at the University of Michigan in 2004, Scarpace has been pushing the value of video as it relates to player development and coaching strategy. 

Scarpace’s work as a video coordinator has been thought of so highly that the University of Michigan created hockey’s Director of Player Development role just for him. In addition to his work at Michigan, Scarpace also helped develop the on-ice instruction at the Red Berenson Hockey Camp.
