Tooltips

Tooltips can provide additional context or act as a simple label.

• Label tooltips should be three words or less — one word is best. Use title case in these instances.
• Use sentence case with proper punctuation for instruc­tion­al tooltips.
• Be informative and clear — instruc­tion­al tooltips should be 110 characters or less. There’s no space for cleverness or confusion.
• Periods are the only end punctuation you’ll need.
