Following the release of our live tagging app, we looked at ways to continue bringing soccer teams new tools to get the most out of video.
Say hello to web tagging and player stats for soccer teams.
You can now tag video right from your computer, and with the addition of player stats, you can even add goal scorer and assist data while tagging live on an iPad.
Here’s an overview of the new features, with more info on what it all means to you and your team.
Tag Video on Web
You can now tag video from your computer. This is prefect for teams who are unable to find someone to tag their games live. You can also use this to make corrections to issues from a live tagging session.
Once your game is tagged, you’ll get instant access to stat reports and playlists of key moments in your game.
Track Player Stats
You can now track who scored and assisted every goal. You’ll be prompted to add in this information after each goal is scored as you tag on an iPad. After the game, stats are aggregated on the Reports page, making it easy to pull together a highlight video and identify your top performers.
This features is currently only available in our iOS live tagging app, but will appear on the web soon.
How Do I Get Access?
If you’re a Hudl user, these new tools are already available to teams with a Bronze package or above, so set up your roster and start tagging.
If you don’t have Hudl and want to get started with video analysis, sign up for a 30-day free trial to check out all of our features.
