IMLCA Teams with Hudl to Fuel Coach and Player Development with Video Analysis

The Intercollegiate Men’s Lacrosse Coaches Association will provide teams preferred access to video analysis tools, helping coaches prepare for and stay ahead of the competition.

The Intercollegiate Men’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IMLCA) will now incorporate Hudl to further its commitment to promote the sport of lacrosse and to provide its members with cutting-edge technology.

“Following a thorough vetting process, we are excited to announce our new partnership with Hudl,” said J.B. Clarke, president of the IMLCA and head lacrosse coach at Limestone College. “We expect this alliance will provide meaningful benefits to all of our coaches. Hudl is an unquestioned leader in the industry of video technology and sports analytics.”

As part of the three-year partnership, IMLCA members will now have access to preferred pricing on Hudl’s suite of analysis tools – solutions that meet the needs of every coach and are fully-integrated with each other:

  • Hudl – Coaches can find key game and practice moments in an instant and share insights with their team through video exchange tools.

  • Hudl Assist – Members can submit game or opponent video to professional analysts and receive video breakdowns and reports within 24 hours.

  • Hudl Sportscode – Advanced coaches can customize how their data and video are captured to analyze key performance indicators.

By combining these offerings with Hudl’s video exchange tools, IMLCA coaches will be able to review and share game data and footage like never before.

“Following the lead of the NBA, NFL, hundreds of college football programs and many of our own lacrosse coaches who currently use Hudl, we are confident that Hudl will continue to better the video exchange programs as well as the educational aspects of video as a tool for our coaches,” said Clarke. “Bottom line – our coaches will be more effective as teachers with the Hudl technology and experience. The partnership between the IMLCA and Hudl will also benefit the coaches in other ways, both on and off the field.”

The IMCLA consists of hundreds of coaches across the U.S., and Hudl is thrilled to help them push the game forward through technology.

We are proud to play a part in the IMLCA’s mission to enlighten the lacrosse community through technology,” said Matt Mueller, COO of Hudl. “Offering these teams the tools to make informed adjustments before and after every game will help raise the level of play and we’re excited to see the sport grow because that.”

“The IMLCA has plans to leverage game film to build a robust instructional video platform for players and coaches of all ages and ability levels,” said Graham Leveston, general manager for the IMLCA.  “We see the IMLCACoaches.com website as a central point and community for all things related to the men’s college game.”
