Version 5.0.2 of Hudl Technique for iOS is now available, and it could be our favorite update yet. With Apple Watch integration, a new Recent Athletes section, and flipped videos, there’s no shortage of new tools to help you improve.

Flip any clip

Some people are right-handed and others are left-handed. It’s a fact of life that can get in the way when comparing two athletes. Now, you can flip any clip from your library (plus videos featuring model athletes) for a better side-by-side!

Fly (and record) solo

Hudl Technique* users now have the option to start and stop a recording from their Apple Watch. If you’re working on form with nobody around, capturing your own reps can be tricky. Now, you can mount your phone - mindful to keep yourself in frame - and walk away to control each clip from your wrist.

*Apple Watch integration is not available on the Hudl Technique Golf app.

Share with recent athletes

If you’re sharing with the same members of your team over and over again, constant scrolling every time can get a little old. Take advantage of the new Recent Athletes list for a quicker way to share. Hudl Technique will keep tabs on who you’ve recently worked with and put suggested recipients right at the top.

We also made sure to squash a few bugs with this release, so visit the App Store for a look at the notes and update today.
