Use these strength exercises to help your young players develop a solid foundation to improve ball striking, jumping and tackling.

The following video demonstrates a series of lower body strength exercises that utilise each players own body weight and resistance, with correct technique being performed and reinforced at all times. Lower body strength is required for striking the ball, jumping, tackling, twisting and turning as well as forming the foundation for explosive movements.
