Course 3:   Uploads + Exchanges

As of March 13, 2023, Hudl Academy will be undergoing changes. While this site is under construction, please connect with our tutorials, classes, or YouTube channel for up-to-date information on all Hudl products and workflows.

Lesson 3:   Exchange Your Video with Hudl Teams

  1. Note: Only team administrators can exchange with other teams. If you need access to this feature, have a current admin on your team switch your role from coach to admin.

  2. Learn the ins and outs of exchanges. Any team can exchange video with another team on Hudl. If you get sent a video, simply accept the exchange to be able to add it to your library as opponent scout footage. If you don’t need it, you always have the ability to deny an exchange request. To see your options for starting an exchange, keep reading.

  3. Two-way exchange. The other team won’t be able to see your video unless they send video back. It’s only fair.

  4. One-way exchange. Say the opposing coach forgot to charge their camera and they weren’t able to record the match. Be a pal and send them your recording in a one-way exchange. (They won’t need to send anything back to you in this case.)

  5. Request an exchange. If you were the coach that forgot to charge the camera, just ask the other team for a copy. (And pack an extra charging cord next time.)

  1. Take it to the next level

  2. Exchange between your own teams. If you accidentally uploaded video to the wrong team, just exchange it. No need to re-upload.

  3. Delete an exchange. Sharing is caring, but if you’re not feeling it, just delete the exchange.
