Lesson 1: Tag Your Stats
-
Link your video with stats. You already know stats are valuable, and probably track them in some way. But when you use Hudl to tag your games, you’ll be adding that data directly to the video. Every key play can now be found in an instant and saved as a clip for further review. We’ll dive more into that in course five.
-
Track stats live. Grab an injured player, parent, assistant coach or alumni to tag team stats in the Hudl app while the game is happening. You’ll have them available to reference during the game, and all the data will be ready to upload immediately after the final whistle. From there, it’s super easy to add player stats.
-
Add stats after the game on your computer. You want stats, but you don’t fully trust your student manager to pay attention to the game — thanks, Snapchat. Adding team and player stats after the game is the surefire way to get what you want.

Send your games to Hudl Assist. Less work, more play. Check out Hudl Assist for basketball and let us handle the stats, so you can save your time and energy for coaching. Learn how to submit a game.
