Course 9:   A Guide to Hudl Assist

Lesson 5:   FAQ

  1. Can I submit JV games to Hudl Assist? Assist subscriptions are team-based. If you purchased Hudl Assist for your varsity team and want to send a JV game, great! You’ll just need to purchase a subscription or single credit for that team first.

  2. How many games can I submit in a day? As a team, you can send three games per 24 hours. For example, if you send a game at 8 a.m., 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., you’ll need to wait until 8 a.m. the next day to send another one.

  3. Can I submit scrimmages? You bet. As long as it’s played like a normal game with the same rules, it can be broken down.

  4. Why did my game get rejected and what do I do? The email letting you know your game was rejected should also give a reason why. If we noticed it was a JV game sent by the varsity team, sorry, you’re out of luck. If the video quality was too poor, check out our recording tips for next game. If the video was out of order, try to re-upload. If you still need help, give our Support team a shout.

  5. What do I do if I want player stats but my jersey numbers are hard to read? You know that Notes” section at the bottom of the submission page? Leave us some of those so we know who’s who. Something like “#12 is wearing red socks” or “#23 is wearing a white arm sleeve.” We’ll do our best to still break down player stats, but we can’t make any promises.

  6. What if a player had to wear a jersey different than what’s on my Hudl roster? Easy. Just click Edit jerseys” on the submission page and let us know what athlete wore which number in the game you’re submitting.
