If you have received a recruiting package from a high school coach, the first step is to open the email and click the link to open the recruiting package. You will be taken to a page that has you create a FREE Hudl account to view the film.
We ask that you create a free account so any future recruiting packages sent to you can be stored under one account. This makes it easier to manage if you receive multiple recruiting packages.
Viewing a Recruiting Package

After logging into Hudl, you will be prompted to download Silverlight. Silverlight is the tool we use to playback video on Hudl.com. On the left hand side of your account, you will see a list of recruiting packages that have been sent to you. You can sort athletes by State and Position by clicking either option at the top of the screen.
To view an athlete, click on any of the names shown. To see his/her highlights, click on Highlights. A black box will drop down and have highlights separated into categories by opponent. Full game footage will be listed below these highlights.
To make a hard copy of the highlights or full game footage, simply click the icon in the bottom right corner of the game or highlight. The footage will then download to your local computer where you can use Windows Movie Maker or another burning program to burn the film to a DVD. You can also save the files on an external hard drive or thumb drive.
You can forward the recruiting package on to another coach on your staff by forwarding the original email that was sent to you. The coach will then need to create a similar Hudl account like you created when you first received the package.

To view the athletes profile page with his/her contact information and other stats, click View Full Athlete Profile. You can find the contact information listed here or you can also contact them by selecting Contact under their name on the recruiting package.
