Accounts for everybody
As soon as you’re signed up, you can immediately add every coach and player on your team—none of this “paying per computer” nonsense. Your team paid for it—everyone should be able to log in. All you need is an email address and the account is activated.
As a coach, you have control over your players' accounts. Someone cut from the team? Just remove that player from the roster on Hudl and they can no longer access anything.
Targeted playlists and reports
Once your accounts are setup for your team, you can group players by position, age, or any other way. Chances are if you’re creating a report for one of your running backs, the others would benefit from seeing it, too.
Whenever you share something in Hudl, you specify which players, coaches, or groups should receive the item you’re sharing.
You can even add a little message that will show up in the recipient’s email inbox along with a link that will take them right to your video with your notes and telestrations already loaded—they won’t have to search for it.
Your entire video library in one spot
Because Hudl provides unlimited storage for your game video, your whole library is at your fingertips—and it’s online, accessible anywhere you’ve got an internet connection.
Think of all the things you could do if you had three, four…even five or more seasons on Hudl:
- Create a “best of” playlist for your most commonly run plays and sets.
- Create playlists for position groups with teaching clips from past All State and All Conference players.
- Build a report showing the effectiveness of your top formations against a particular opponent over the years.
Burn DVD backups
You can always download playlists from Hudl to your computer and burn them as DVDs. It’s convenient if one of your players or coaches does not have internet access and you still want to share with that individual.
Players can also order their own highlight DVDs directly from Hudl, saving you a lot of time and effort at the end of the season.
