‘Twas the end of football season and all the little Hudlies were tucked away behind their desks, with thoughts of holiday cheer dancing through their heads. Holiday music filled the office, from classics like “Oh Holy Night” to “Jingle Bells”, and what 90s girl can pass up the ‘NSync Christmas CD?
Christmas came early to the office when Hudl swag and Secret Santa presents appeared.
People asked Santa for Lakers tickets, a trip to the Nebraska bowl game, clothes, snow, and the Lion King Soundtrack. Favorite holiday movies are seen all around. We found Home Alone and Elf at the top of our Hudlies’ list of classics.
Everyone has a special holiday memory they like to share every year. Here are a few from around the office:
“My favorite memory is my family’s annual Ugly Sweater Fashion Show where we walk a runway and then vote on our favorites.” –Morgan
“I enjoy looking at Christmas lights on Christmas Eve after church.” –Tina
“My Grandma used to come up with codes for all of the kids’ Christmas presents, so we had to break the code before we could open any of our presents.” –Matt S.
“My parents forcing me to go outside to play with a toy my sister got and I kept refusing. It turns out, there was a new bike waiting out there and I was happy to go outside after I found that out.” –Jason W.
In case you hadn’t noticed, we’re a bunch of sports fanatics. The holiday season is a great time to watch all sorts of games. It’s a unanimous vote that we are most excited to watch this season’s bowl games.
We would love to hear what games you are going to watch or if you have a favorite holiday memory of your own.
All of the Hudlies wish you and your staff a very happy holiday season!
