We’re excited to officially announce our partnership with CBS Sports’ MaxPreps.com, the most-visited online high school sports destination. MaxPreps’ president, Andy Beal, and his team have worked with us to craft a partnership that benefits all our high school partners.
We’d like to provide a little background on the partnership:
We Needed a Way to Increase Awareness of Hudl
Last spring, we were attending 8-10 coaching clinics every weekend, but we were still struggling to get the word out about Hudl to every coach in the country.
We consistently heard from coaches:
“Man… I just invested thousands of dollars on another video editing solution. Now you’re telling me that I could have Hudl for only $800 per year? How am I supposed to tell my booster club I made that mistake? I wish I would have known about Hudl earlier…”
We Wanted a Strong, Respected Brand in High School Sports
To help increase awareness, we needed to partner with a brand that was widely known and respected—one that would help spread the word about Hudl to coaches. We were extremely careful about which company we chose. We wanted a partner that:
- Put coaches’ needs first and really works to make high school coaches’ lives easier.
- Offered a product complimentary to Hudl. Each of our products needed to make the other better and more useful for coaches.
- Would take our partnership very seriously and change the way they do business to make our partnership a success.
MaxPreps.com Fit Everything We Were Looking For
Over the next few months, we’ll be working with the MaxPreps team to integrate our sites so that you can realize all of the benefits of our partnership, including:
- More exposure for your team. The news station missed your team’s 99-yard touchdown run on Friday night. Instead of losing that opportunity to promote your team and your players, you can submit the highlight to Hudl.com. It’s immediately available to MaxPreps.com, CBS Sports, and CBS’s massive network of regional and local affiliates.
- No more duplicating your work. Once our integration is complete, you won’t have to worry about entering rosters, schedules, scores, and stats on both sites. Once you publish your information on either site, you can share information between them. You’ll save time and still have maximum exposure for your team.
- More teams for film exchange. As more teams learn about Hudl, more teams are available for film exchange. More film exchange on Hudl means less time driving to trade DVDs and recapturing video on Saturday morning.
Leave us a comment if you have a question about the partnership. Don’t hesitate to contact us anytime.
Thanks!
