Finding the Right Tutorial

If you frequent our support and tutorials pages, you’ve noticed we’ve given them a face lift. Before, we made you skip around from page to page looking for the information you needed. Now, we have it all conveniently located in one spot. We think this will make your searches easier so you can get your question answered, and get back to your video.

The Landing Page

The support landing page is now grouped into categories to make your searching more efficient. Let’s face it; we have a lot of support content from frequently asked questions to tutorials – we now have it categorized in a more efficient way.

You can now access the getting started guides, step-by-step instructions, Hudl system requirements, and account/ billing questions all from the landing page.

The Categories

  • Getting Started – Find all your getting started guides, and first steps to get you up and rolling with Hudl.
  • Managing your Team –Learn about all the management aspects of Hudl like managing your coaches, roster, and schedule.
  • Common Issues – Look here for some basic issues like your school’s firewall or changing your password.
  • Getting Video Into Hudl – Learn how to get your video into the Hudl Video Editor.
  • Working with Your Video – Get information on the initial steps you’d take with your video like breakdown and angle import.
  • Using the Hudl Website – Learn how to publish video up to Hudl.com and work with it from the website.
  • Reports and Data – Learn how to take all the information you enter, and create detailed reports.
  • Highlights & Recruiting – Look here for information on making player highlights and getting that video out to recruiters.
  • Billing, Signup, & Your Account – Get any questions you have about the trial, your invoice, or other general account questions answered here.
  • Sweet Features on Hudl – You’ve done all you can do Hudl, now dive into some of Hudl’s advanced features like walkthroughs and presentations.

If you click on a category, you’ll find a page of help content. On the left, you’ll find a list of frequently asked questions dealing with the selected topic. On the right, you’ll find a list of tutorials to accompany those questions. Click on a question to jump down, and get the answer, click on a tutorial to get step-by-step instructions. The tutorials with a video image beside them will have a step-by-step video tutorial to view, as well.

Not sure which category? Just use the search bar to search for key words like Highlights or Intercut. The built in search tool will pull up all the support resources associated with the key word.
